How is the start of April going for you?

Well I hope!

If not, how are you finding ways to renew your mind?

Through music? Walks in the park? New friendships? Listening to podcast?

No matter what it is, we must always pray without ceasing!

When King David was at the lowest point in his reign, he still took time to encourage himself in the Lord.

"And David was greatly distressed; for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God."
1 Samuel 30:6

AND because David turned to the Lord for help, things worked out in his favor.

"And David inquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And God answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all". ~ 1 Samuel 30:8

I don't know about you but I'm ready to recover all the enemy has stolen from me.

Like David let's take time to encourage ourselves in the Lord.

Hey Reader, I'm back June is approaching and it's that time again to turn down our plates and hear from the Lord. Every first three days of the month we engage in a corporate fast along with prayer. Starting June 1st-3rd from 6:00 AM-6:00 PM, as a body of believers we'll be fasting with water only. The biblical definition of fasting means to abstain from food.
